Did the Twilight Saga inspire the top baby names for 2011?

With Jacob and Isabella topping the list, it sure looks that way!

Were these names inspired by Twilight's Jacob Black and Isabella Swan? Most likely. Are baby name choices influenced by pop culture? Most definitely. It's no surprise that the names George and Lucas jumped over 100 spots in the baby name ranks after the release of Star Wars, or that Jack and Rose jumped the list after the release of Titanic. Pop culture influences many aspects of our life apparently including picking the names of our children. Will this trend continue? Considering 2012 is already seeing an increase in the babies named Rue, Gale, Primrose, and Cato - all characters from the popular book and movie series The Hunger Games - I would say yes.

It's a Guido!

As it's been announced, jersey shore will be adding a new Guido to the family. Snooki is having a boy! Along with that news comes talk of her baby shower. Pauly D informs us he has the music covered "She told me she wants me to deejay the delivery room. I told her I'll just deejay the baby shower." 

What else could we expect to find at Snooki's shower?
